Delta M. Miller, age 83 of Forest died at 6:00 p.m. on Tues. Feb. 11, 2014 in the Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 15, 1930 in Kenton to the late James M. and Addie F. (Miller) Danner. On May 28, 1950 she married Fred Miller Jr., he preceded her in death on Apr. 20, 2006. Surviving are her three children Kathy (Barry) Long, Forest, Deborah (Steve) Williamson, Kenton, Brian Miller, Forest, seven grandchildren Barry Alan Long, Donald Long, Frank Sellars, Christina (Josh) Bowman, Tegan Morris, Allyssa Miller, Dakota Miller, three great grandchildren, a brother James Danner, Kenton, four sisters Pauline Gobrecht, Bellefontaine, Rose Marie Hurley, Huntsville and Ruth (Elmo) Wilson, CO, Deanna Danner, Mason. Preceding her in death was a daughter Pamela Sellars who is survived by a special friend Carl Kissling, also deceased are four sisters Doris Pruitt, Jean Evelyn Fleece, Martha Overly and Mary Virden.

In 1948 she graduated from Kenton High School. Mrs. Miller had been employed by the Forest Implement Company, she and her husband were owner operators of Miller Equipment Center, Kenton, she had worked at Dunkirk Bank and JBS Heating and Cooling.

For over 60 years she was a member of Blanchard River Church of Christ where she served as treasurer of the church, was a member of the Ladies Aid Society and was involved with vacation bible school, church dinners and served on many other committees.

A funeral service will be held Sat. Feb. 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Umphress officiating. Interment will follow in Hueston Cemetery, Forest. Visitation will be on Fri. Feb. 14, 2014 from 3-7:00 p.m. at Clark Shields Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Blanchard River Church of Christ, Forest Food Bank or Jackson Forest EMS in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S. Patterson St. Forest, OH 45843.
