Mrs. Janie Miller, 67, a native of Shabuta, MS, and a resident of Lucedale, MS, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014, at her home in Lucedale. Mrs. Miller worked as the head cook at the Four Mile Truck Stop in Lucedale. She loved her family and spending time with her grandbabies, family and friends. She was always known for putting other's needs before her own. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Elizabeth Miller, Wanda Kay Kelly, Susan Ann Hudson Jeffords; granddaughter, Jacquelyn Suzanne Holliman; parents, Elmer and Clara Rockwell; brothers, Robert and Dank Rockwell. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Troy Miller of Lucedale, MS; her son Gerald (Holly) Hudson of Theodore, AL; her brothers, Willie (Sharon) Rockwell, John "Red" Rockwell, Jimmy (Vicky) Rockwell, Snuffy (Anne) Rockwell; her sisters, Betty Rockwell, Alice (Doug) Rockwell; her granddaughters, Molly (Jeff) Frazure, Miranda Holliman, Jessica Holliman, Amber Hudson, Shauna Hudson, Liberty (Daniel) Murell, Rachel Rockwell, Ruthie Kelley all from Lucedale, MS; and fourteen great-grandchildren. A wake will be held on Friday, 14, 2014 from 6-9 pm at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Freeman Chapel Saturday, February 15, 2014 with Bro. Karl Causey officiating.
