Mr. Kirby was born in Mount Vernon, Kentucky on September 16, 1953, a son of the late James William and Beatrice Pittman Kirby. He had been a machine operator for the Threaded Rod Company in Indianapolis, Indiana and enjoyed gardening. On November 26, 2009 he was united in marriage to Melissa Allen.
Mr. Kirby is survived by his wife: Melissa Allen Kirby of Mount Vernon, Kentucky; His children: Brian Kirby of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, Lorie Kirby of Mount Vernon, Kentucky; A step-son: Carter Bowling; Two brothers: Lester (Ruthetta) Kirby of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, Roscoe (Rosie) Kirby of Mount Vernon, Kentucky; A sister: Rissie (Barry) Ballinger of Mount Vernon, Kentucky; A brother-in-law: Johnny R. Allen; A sister-in-law: Lorna Jean (Tubby) Durham and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Mr. Kirby was preceded in death by his parents: James William and Beatrice Pittman Kirby; A son: Chris Kirby; Three brothers: Toy Kirby, Lee Kirby, Ernest Kirby; and an infant sister: Barbara Sue Kirby.
Funeral services for Mr. Tinnie Kirby will be conducted on Friday February 14, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Chestnut Ridge Church of God in Jesus' Name. Burial will follow in the Kirby Family Cemetery.
