Jeanette Dolores Knight Parker

Our loving Wife, Mother, Daughter and Sister left this life to join her Father in Heaven on February 7, 2014. Jeanette lost her fight to a short and courageous battle with inflammatory breast cancer.

Jeanette was born June 29, 1963 in Onslow County, N.C. to Glenn L. and Iris D. Knight the middle of a large family of 11. She graduated from Brighton High School in SLC, obtained her Associates at Dixie State, Bachelors at USU, and attended Law School at the University of San Francisco. She attended the University of San Diego and earned accreditation as an ABA certified Paralegal. Jeanette worked at Law firms in California, Las Vegas, and for a Federal Judge. She has been with Snow, Jensen and Reece located in St. George for many years.

Jeanette married her sweetheart, Max Parker on July 21, 1991 in Joseph, Utah. They were joined by their son Connor on Feb. 10, 1997.

Jeanette loved Scouting and earned numerous awards. On January 23, 2014 at a Scout Banquet she was awarded the Second Miler Award and the District Award of Merit.

She is survived by her devoted husband and son. Father Glenn Knight and Mother Iris Knight, Mother-in-law Pat Parker, Sister-in-Law Fiona Otway, her large family of Brothers, Sisters, Nieces, Nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 15, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Diamond Valley Ward, 1784 W. Diamond Valley Drive. A viewing will be Friday, Feb.14 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Pine View Mortuary, 566 N. Mall Drive, St. George, UT. Another viewing will be at the Diamond Valley Church on Saturday prior to the services from: 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Internment will be at the Tonaquint Cemetery under the direction of Pine View Mortuary.
