Death Claims Wm H. Shinn
William H. Shinn, 72, a long time resident of Lodi, passed away yesterday morning in a Stockton hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Shinn, who made his home at 123 1/2 Flora st., was born in Galt, Dec. 27, 1882. For several years as a young man he mined in El Dorado county, but many years ago came to Lodi where he engaged in general trucking and transportation.
Mr. Shinn was a member of the Christian church.
He is survived by two daughters, Leona Allison of Oakland and Wilma Dilly of Oroville. He was the brother of Edson Shinn, El Dorado and Maude Pilatti of Lodi. Three grandchildren also survive.
Interment in Lodi Cemetery under direction of the East-Pine Funeral Home.
