Willard Leroy Maust
April 9, 1928 - February 8, 2014

Willard Leroy Maust, 85, of Meyersdale, PA, died Saturday, February 08, 2014, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, MD. orn, April 9, 1928 in Elk Lick Township, PA, he was the son of the late Alvin L. and Edna M. (Miller) Maust.
Mr. Maust was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Dorcas (Bender) Maust; one daughter, Marjorie Fickes; one grandson, Brian Maust; two brothers, Evan & Ivan Maust and one sister, Amy (Dolan) Yoder. Mr. Maust was a dairy farmer and a member of Cherry Glade Mennonite Church. He was a member of the Somerset County Holstein Association and a lifetime member of the Pennsylvania Holstein Association and the National Holstein Association. Surviving are nine sons, James W. Maust (Joyce Beachy), Harrisonburg, VA, Arlen W. Maust (Glenda Brenneman), Springs, PA, Veril W. Maust (Ashley Trent), Salisbury, PA, Duane W. Maust (Chris Diller), Greensburg, PA, Merlin W. Maust (Felicia Merrbach), Springs, Jesse W. Maust (Karen Broadwater), Salisbury, Leonard W. Maust (Diane Bender), Salisbury, Glenn W. Maust (Rhonda Opel), Grantsville, Darwin W. Maust (Christina Grogg), Fairmont, WV; three daughters, Sherrill A. Meyers (Daniel), Grantsville, Doreen Bender (Rich), Accident, MD, Darlene Mast (Dale) Grantsville; one brother, Francis Maust (Lenora), Lebanon, PA; one sister, Emily Maust, Grantsville; 39 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller Street, Grantsville, MD, on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 1-4 & 6-8. A family service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., immediately followed by interment in the Oak Dale Cemetery.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Oak Dale Church, Salisbury, PA, at 11:00 a.m. following the burial. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Wycliffe Bible Translators, earmarked for Missionaries, Drew & Emily Maust or Hospice of Garrett County.
