Mallory Ellen Jones, 21, died Saturday, August 26, 2006. Born January 4, 1985 in Nashville, TN, she was a 2003 graduate of Mauldin High School where she was a member of the tennis team and a trainer in the athletic department. She was a senior at Anderson University where she was a kinesology major and minored in Christian ministries. She spent the summer of 2004 as a children s ministry intern at First Baptist Church in Winston Salem, NC. The following summer she traveled with Passport Kids, a Christian children s camp. Mallory was currently working part-time with Shuey Physical Therapy in Anderson. She planned to attend nursing school following graduation. She attended F.C.A. at Clemson, was a member of Lafayette Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC and attended New Spring Church in Anderson. She is survived by her parents, Larry and Karen Hampton Jones of Arlington, VA; her sister, Meghan Jones of Columbia; and her maternal grandparents, Peggy and Frank Hampton of Anderson. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Martha and Lewis Jones of Birmingham, AL.
