Flora Belle Lombard, 86, of Owego, N.Y., passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2002 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa.
She was born in Forksville, Pa. on August 3, 1915, the daughter of the late Coralle Williams and Anna (Smith) Woodard.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Lombard; her daughter, Juanita Russell; her sister, Helen Howe.
Flora is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and George Basos; her grandchildren, Lori Pittsley, George Basos, Jr., Matthew Basos, Kathleen Basos, John Davidson, Mary Benjamin, Bill Davidson, Mickey Russell; and several great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; also survived by her brother, Edward Woodard; her sisters, Betty Newman and Sally; and several nieces and nephews.
Flora loved needlework, especially knitting and crocheting. She was an avid gardener and was a wonderful cook.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Tioga Cemetery.
