Kenneth Harold "Ken" Nelson, age 78 of Birmingport, passed away February 10, 2014. He was a retired ironworker (Local 92), Deacon of Pine Ridge Baptist Church, past Master Mason (Local 722), and a Shriner. He was preceded by his wife Marilyn Jett Nelson, parents Joseph Alvin and Edna Martelia Humphryes Nelson.
The visitation will be Friday, February 14, 2014 at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home from 12:30 until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home, with Bro. Nolan Gross officiating. Burial will follow at Salters Cemetery.
