Katherine Delaine Dailey Blackmon, wife of Allen Blackmon, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014. She was born in Camden, the daughter of Katherine Collins Gordon and the late Howard Dailey. She was co-owner and partner of Blackmon's Little Midget Family Drive-In in Camden. Delaine was a member of First Baptist Church in Camden. She graduated from Camden High in 1971 and left Camden to become an Airline Stewardess. Delaine is the former Miss Miami, was hired by Irene Forbes Modeling Agency, and was a runway model for approximately 20 years. She moved back to Camden in 1987, met her husband, Allen, and they took over operations of the Little Midget in 1988. Delaine proudly served her customers and community and gave tirelessly of her time and effort to community service. She was also former president of The Ladies Auxiliary of the Camden Shrine Club.
