Elijah Crow was the son of John Crow {died 1796 in Hardin County} and Elizabeth Jackson (born 1765). From the Kentucky Family Records Volume 9 pages 92 to 95 History of John Crow. Brothers John, Jesse and Benjamin.

Elijah married Frances Calloway January 21, 1811 in Ohio Co.
Elijah married Judith Johnson daughter of Rev Soldier Samuel Johnson January 2 1814 in Ohio Co Ky. Judith was born in 1797 and died c/a 1850.

December 28 1837 Elijah Crow's will was divided among his heirs in Ohio Co Ky. Mary Ann Crow Belt, Sallie Ann Crow Woodward, John C Crow, Frances Crow.

From the History of Ohio Co. by McDowell Fogle, Elijah Crow was prominent in Ohio County public life having been a member of the state house of Representatives in 1829- 1832 and 1833 the legislative term of the members of the lower house then being only one year.
