Sean David Phillips of Benson, Arizona, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014.

He was born November 15, 1973, in Tucson, Arizona, to Terry and Lane (Matthews) Phillips.

He spent his childhood in Tucson, where he attended Palo Verde High School.

He was a journeyman lineman/substation electrician at Tucson Electric Power.

He loved archery, hunting, fishing, landscaping, and gardening. He was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Sean was funny and kind, always ready with a hug. He is loved by many and will be missed dearly.

Sean is survived by his wife, Janelle Phillips; his mother, Lane Phillips; his stepmother, Susan Phillips; his sister, Katie Phillips; his brother, Shane Phillips; an uncle, Chad Matthews; an aunt, Juliet Matthews; a cousin, Brian Matthews; his father and mother-in-law, Sam and Jeannine Judd; many sisters- and brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Terry Phillips.

A memorial service was held Friday, February 7, 2014, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Benson. Sean was laid to rest at the St. David Cemetery.
