CLEARFIELD PROGRESS 02 MAR 1966

MRS. GERTRUDE H. BLOOM

NEW MILLPORT - Mrs. Gertrude Hattie Bloom, 87, of New Millport died at 8:30 a.m. today.

A daughter of Samuel and Eliza (Erhard) Tobias, she was born at New Millport July 15, 1878. She was a member of the New Millport Lutheran Church.

Surviving are five sons, Kenneth of Curwensville, Halbert of Philadelphia and Sylvan, Meredith and Ardeth of New Millport; also 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by her husband Lloyd L Bloom in 1947; also by her parents, five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the New Millport Lutheran Church with the Rev. Walter J Emswilerofficiating. Burial will be in the New Millport Cemetery.

Friends will be received in the Russell H. Lininger Funeral Home, Curwensville, from 2 p.m. Friday until noon Saturday when the body will be taken to the church. Friends may call there until time of service.
