Mrs. Essie Wood died Sunday morning in Kirksville Osteopathic Hospital.
She was the daughter of Richard and Eva Colvin Moore and was born Dec. 1, 1898 near Browning.
She was married to William Leon Wood.
She is survived by three sons; Robert and Gerald Wood, Brookfield, and Donald, Kansas City; three daughters-in-law, Mrs. Reba Wood and Mrs. Marjorie Wood of Brookfield, and Mrs. Clarice Wood of Kansas City; one brother, Richard Moore, Browning; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and one sister, Emma Rottman.
