Mrs. Fannie Love Fislar united with [Methodist] Church in 1822 at Moses Holman's house on Chestnut Ridge, south of Seymour 4 miles, when 19 years old. She was the widow of Fortner.

The death of Mrs. Fisler occurred this morning at 3 o'clock. Funeral on Friday at 2 o'clock. Services conducted by Dr. G.L. Curtiss at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jerry Williams, on Fourth street. Remains can be seen from 10 to 2.
The deceased was 91 years of age and was born in South Carolina April 11, 1803. She came to Indiana at the age of 18 years, and lived in Jackson county 24 years, then removed to this city where she has lived for the past 50 years. Mrs. Fisler is one of the oldest persons in the city. She was a member of the M.E. church, and lived a constant Christian life.
