Robert "Bob" Wolverton, age 72, of Storm Lake, Iowa died Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Methodist Manor Retirement Community in Storm Lake.

Robert Hagen Wolverton was born March 15, 1941 in Whitehall, Montana son of Sylvester and Anna Mae (Mitchell) Wolverton.

Growing up, Robert attended school in Whitehall, where he later graduated. After graduation, he furthered his education by receiving a Pharmacy Degree from the University of Montana.

Bob proudly served his country by joining the United States Army. During this time, he was stationed in Korea and Germany. He later was a part of the National Guard.

On April 5, 2003 Bob was united in marriage to Koy Sheets.

Bob spent his life as a hospital pharmacist. He worked many years at the Billings Deaconess Hospital in Billings, Montana.

During his free time, Bob loved to travel the United States and beyond. He was also a member of the Buena Vista Rifle and Pistol Club, Buena Vista County Historical Society, and Witter Gallery.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Koy Wolverton of Storm Lake, Iowa; children: Lt. Col. Rob (Mona) Wolverton of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Dr. Kevin Wolverton of York, Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Isaac and Abigail Wolverton of Colorado Springs, Colorado; extended family and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Anna; and his son, Paul.
