Kathleen, 72, of Chelsea, Michigan, went to be with her Savior on Sunday, February 9, 2014, in Palm Springs, California. She was the daughter of Judson and Irene (Young) Goltra.

Kathleen lived in Chelsea since 1946, coming from Detroit. She attended Knox Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor. Her greatest joy was her husband Jack, along with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To every one of us, family and friends alike, Kathy (Mom and Gran) always gave herself fully; she encouraged and nurtured us with such great love and care, always desiring what was best for each one of us. Her legacy of that Love will live on.

She is survived by her beloved High School sweetheart and Husband, Jack Patrick of 52 inseparable years. Theirs is a timeless love story where a day never went by they didn't express their love and appreciation for one another.

They enjoyed their summers in Chelsea but also created a strong bond with their Palm Springs, California friends. Kathy's generous and kind spirit touched so many people creating memories that will be cherished forever. We honor her for a life of remarkable achievements as our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and adored wife for fifty-two years with Jack.

Kathy is also survived by her proudest accomplishment, her three children: Tamela (Howard) Bush of Chelsea, Kevin (Monica) Patrick of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Julie (Pat) Young of Chelsea; five grandchildren including Brandon (Chrissy) Bush, Lauren (Phil) Kaiser, Shaun Bush, Jonah and Claire Young and four great-grand children, Abby, Connor, Evan and Colin; and one sister, Jacqueline Elliott of Swartz Creek, and one sister-in-law, Catherine Goltra of Novi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother Helen Lake, Arizona and Charles Patrick, her great-grand daughter Natalie Bush, her brother Judson Goltra, her brother Raymond Lake and her brother-in-law Raymond Elliott.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Arbor Hospice on behalf of Kathleen Patrick.

A memorial service was held at a later date.

Arrangements by Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea.
