Rome Mrs. Mariam A. Bennett, 56, of Lock Road, Rome, wife of Harold Bennett, died Tuesday in Oneida City Hospital.
She was born in Illion, daughter of Arthur and Nettie Turner Hollister. She had lived in the Rome area for 21 years. She attended Ilion schools and was a graduate of St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing. She was married in Ilion in 1940.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church of Verona and the Vesta Chapter OES.
Besides her husband she leaves a son, Roger P. Bennett of Fort Leonard, Wood, Missouri.
The funeral will be Saturday from the Campbell Dean Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Union Cemetery in Verona Mills.
