Services for George Mattison New, 88, of Cadiz, will be held Sunday at 2pm at the Dyer Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Olen Sisk officiating, assisted by the Rev. R.D. Humphrey. Burial will follow in the Lawrence Cemetery. The body is at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Mr. New, a retired timberman, died at his home Thursday morning following a lingering illness.
