John Jack Brennan was born Jan. 29, 1926 in Brenham, Texas to Francis Edward and Minnie (Klehm) Brennan. He passed away on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 in Chickasha, at the age of 88.
Jack lived in Grady County his entire life. He worked for several oil companies. He retired in 1986 from Seismograph Service.
He married Verna Bea Shaw on Dec. 10, 1976 in Riverton, Wyoming. He was an avid fisherman and was the Miller Drive Santa Claus for over 20 years.
He is preceded in death by four sisters: Bertha Kring, Ellen Malany, Sophi Maury and Catherine Fischnar; and three brothers: Lawrence Brennan, Larry Brennan and Edward Brennan
Jack is survived by his wife, Verna Bea Brennan, of Chickasha; three daughters: Bergilda Scarbarough, of Chickasha, Clothilda Rohling, of Chickasha, Carol Zuback, of Camarillo, CA; a son, John Brennan, of Mud Butte, SD; a brother, Charles Brennan of Houston, TX; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
