OBITUARY-
ADAMS -- The funeral for Edna M. Wigham will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Little Cedar Lutheran Church in Adams with the Revs. Allen Gunderson and Donna Joseph co-officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Wigham, 91, of Adams, died Wednesday, June 9, 1999 at the Adams Health Care Center.

Edna M. Moore was born Aug. 12, 1907, in Shellrock, Iowa, and graduated from Austin High School. On Dec. 17, 1925, she married William Wigham in Brownsdale. The couple farmed in the area for many years. Mrs. Wigham was a member of Little Cedar Lutheran Church where she was active in the Ladies Aid. She served as president of the American Legion Auxiliary in 1958 and 1967.

Survivors include four sons, Robert and Duane of Adams, William Jr. of Stewartville, and Paul of Kasson; three daughters, Jean (Mrs. Raphael King) of Mitchell S.D. , Dorothy (Mrs. Orrie) Anderson of Adams, and Joyce (Mrs. Dave) Gomer of Cape Coral, Fla.; 30 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, one daughter, twin sons, two grandsons, two brothers, and two sisters preceded her in death.

Adams Funeral Home in Adams is in charge of arrangements.

Edna Mary Moore was born August 9, 1907, to Eli and Mary Moore at Shell Rock, Iowa. She attended country school and in March 1915, the family moved to a farm near Brownsdale, MN, where she attended a country school and later the Brownsdale and Austin High Schools.

On December 17, 1925, she married William Wigham. They lived on a farm near Brownsdale and in November 1934, moved to a farm near Leroy, MN. In 1935, they moved to a farm near Adams and they have lived about Adams since. They retired to a home the bought in Adams.

Edna and Bill have seven children: Robert, Dorothy (Mrs. Orrie Anderson), Duane in Adams; Jean (Mrs. Ray King) in Mitchell, SD, William in Stewartville, Paul in Kasson, and Joyce (Mrs. David Gomer) in Cape Coral, FL. Twin boys and a daughter died in infancy. Edna and Bill have 31 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. Edna had two brothers and two sisters who have passed away.

In 1985, Edna and Bill celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Her favorite bible passage is from I Corinthians Chapter 13 best known for Love. Her favorite hymn is "Sweet By and By."
