Roise, Virginia H., age 92 of Mpls. Born to Ingvar and Winnie (Wigren) Husby on March 3, 1919, in Montevideo, MN, Virginia grew up in Minneapolis. After graduating from St. Olaf College in 1940, she worked for the Evangelical Lutheran Church until marrying Oscar Roise in 1954. She enjoyed volunteering with many organizations, especially Bethel church. She is survived by daughter Charlene Roise; son David Roise; daughter-in-law Lisa Saunders; and grandchildren, Annika and Erik. Memorial service at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4210 17th Ave. S., Minneapolis 55407 on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 11 AM, with visitation starting at 10 AM and lunch after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Bethel Lutheran Church, Mt. Olivet Careview Home (5517 Lyndale Ave. S., Minneapolis 55419), or St. Olaf College.
