My ancestor, 2x Great Grandfather was the H.W. (Horatio Warren) Simons and his wife Amanda Malvina (Kingsley) Simons mentioned in the Sept. 6th 1883 article regarding Blanche S. Sleeper's wedding to Smith. They gave them a "pitcher" as a wedding gift in the article. Amanda Malvina Kingsley Simons is Blanche Sleeper Smith's aunt. I've wondered how and why the Simons ended up in Crow Wing from Sardinia, Erie, NY to Meeker County, MN to Crow Wing. Seems they had relatives. (Contributed by Shirley (Newell) Vivion)
