OBITUARY-
GRAND MEADOW -- A Mass of Christian burial was offered for Adam J. Stier Monday morning at St. Finbarr's Catholic Church in Grand Meadow with the Rev. Russell Scepaniak officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Stier, 18, of Grand Meadow, an installer for Clements Chevrolet- Cadillac-Subaru-Geo in Rochester, died Friday evening (Aug. 8, 1997) as the result of a car accident in Sumner Township, Fillmore County.
He was born May 20, 1979, in Spring Valley and was a 1997 graduate of Grand Meadow High School.
Survivors include his parents, Joseph and Jean Stier of Grand Meadow; two brothers, Nate of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Nick of Hayfield; maternal grandmother, Patricia Hegge of Austin; paternal grandmother, Paula (Mrs. Lowell) Mollenhauer of Mazeppa; and maternal great-grandfather, Bernard Murphy of Austin.
Hutchins Funeral Home in Grand Meadow was in charge of arrangements.
