Kathleen Joseph Clark, died November 5, 2004 in South Jordan, Utah. Kathleen was born July 9, 1917 in Parowan, Utah to Arthur and Florence Joseph.
She grew up in Parowan and graduated from Parowan High School and attended B.A.C. (now Southern Utah University) in Cedar City. She married Saunders (Bid) Clark November 13, 1936. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple April 6, 1956. Kathleen and Saunders were long time Parowan residents. They loved Parowan, and cherished the many close friends that they had there. Kathleen was an active member of the LDS church and held many positions in the church during her life.
She was best known for her sweet disposition and never ending patience. Her life was one of sacrifice and devotion to her family. Her parents, brothers, sisters, husband, children, and grandchildren were all benefited by her willingness to put their welfare ahead of her own. Kathleen was proud of her heritage, and equally as proud of her children and grandchildren. She is one of the last of the greatest generation to ever live on this earth. We will miss her greatly, but cherish the memories, and honor her example.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband Saunders, Son Joseph McAllister Clark, Granddaughters Barbara Sue Clark, Breanna Clark, brothers Stanley, Howard, and Kenneth, sisters Claudia Forsythe, and Mary Lou Hatch. She is survived by her sons Eric (Carolyn) Clark, Kenyon (Marcia) Clark, and 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday November 8, 2004 in the Parowan 2nd Ward chapel, 87 West Center Street, Parowan, UT. Friends may call at the 2nd Ward chapel from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 prior to the services. Interment in the Parowan Cemetery.
