Rebecca Dayle Owen, 76, of Spencer, passed away Wednesday, Oct.16, 2002, at Bloomington Hospital.
Born May 7, 1926, In Pelminto, she was the daughter of Arland Dale and Rebecca Estelle (Rutan) Howard. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Don Taylor of Spencer and Nellie and John Secrest of Solsberry; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Sue Owen of Spencer; three brothers, George Howard of Sarasota, Fla., and John Howard and Gordon Howard of Goshen; nine grandchildren; seven step- grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Terry Owen, in 1996; one brother, Estel Howard; and one sister, Annalee Shuler.
Funeral service will be at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer at 11 a.m. on Saturday with the Rev. Jim Severh. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
