Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church today at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Ira Love officiating assisted by Dr. John Gibson. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lottie Davis, Delhi; a son, Chapman Davis Jr., U.S. Army in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas; two daughters, Mrs. Edward A. Taylor of Mission, Tex., and Miss Ann Davis, of Delhi; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be George Sumlin, Frank Fraglea, Eldon Tweedle, Mutt Beard, Jim Thomas and Julian Thompson.
The body will be at the funeral home until time for the services.
