Michael C Finley, 71, of Coos Bay was born June 22, 1942, in Coquille to Zed C and Selma Stone Finley. He passed away Feb 5, 2014 in coos Bay. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb 10, at the Greenacres Community Church, 93512 Green Acres Lane in Coos Bay. He attended schools in Coquille and joined the US Navy right out of high school. He was employed in the logging industry and in construction. Mike was a lifelong hunter and fisherman.
Mike is survived by his daughter, Janet Holmes and her husband, Kent of Louisiana; stepdaughter, Robyn Jacobson and her husband, Rick of Coos Bay; grandchildren Levi Finley of Coos Bay, and Jeff and Ashley Holmes of Louisiana; great grandchild Garrett Homes of Louisiana; two sisters: Diane Harris of Sacramento, Calif., and Katie Henderson of Coquille; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Zed and Selma Finley; his wife Patricia Labert Finley; his son Ted Finley; his brother Ron Finley, and an infant daughter.
