Services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Fred "Connie" McDaniel, 92, of 507 Stonewall, who died July 5 in a local hospital. Rev. Elvis O. Bishop and Rev. Wes Weston officiated at services in the chapel of the Kerrville Funeral Home and interment followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. A resident of Kerrville since 1934, she was born August 7, 1891 in Denison. Her parents were pioneer Texas, Thomas and Ida Bernice Farley O'Connor. Mrs. McDaniel, together with her mother and friends, founded the Assembly of God Church, however at the time of death she was a and had been a member of the Country Community Church for many years. Her husband, Fred McDaniel preceded her in death in 1972. They had owned and operated Fred's Bakery for many years prior to his death. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Berniece Howard of Kerrville, Mrs. Patsy Stotts of Ingram; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
