James L. Nutt, 84, of Alliance passed away on Saturday February 8, 2014, at Vibra Hospital of Mahoning County. James was born in Zanesville, Ohio on August 10, 1929, the son of the late Charles and Mary (Crawford) Nutt, and served in the US Army. James worked as a production manager for B&W Tubular for 33 years. He was a member of Sebring Friends Church, treasurer of the Sebring Camp for over 31 years; he enjoyed golfing, bowling and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his three sons, Rev. Charles (Beth) Nutt of New Freedom, Pa, Frederick (Lisa) Nutt of Columbiana, Russell (Jan) Nutt of Goose Creek, South Carolina; a daughter Judith Nutt of Virginia Beach, Virginia; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a sister Bonnie Woods of Weirton, West Virginia. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth A. (Heacock) Nutt whom he married February 26, 1953 and who died March 31, 2011.

Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
