Mr. Pittman was born on June 10, 1937, to the late Edward and Clotile Pittman, in Natchitoches, LA, and is a graduate of Dubberly High School. He married his high school sweetheart Kathleen DeLoach Pittman in 1961 and worked more than 40 years for T.L. James & Company.He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Shirley Smiley and Juanita Strickland.Mr. Pittman is survived by his wife Kathleen Pittman; son Edward Pittman, III; son Greg Pittman and wife Karen; daughter Nicole Pittman Burn and husband Sam; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.He is also survived by 3 brothers and 10 sisters: Elbert Pittman; Billy Pittman; Mark Pittman; Thelma Walker; Mary Pittman; Fran Jones; Vicky Kennedy; Linda Bohn; Karon Hanushek; Julia Baldwin; Kathaleen Pittman; Michelle Pittman; and Lynn Cooley. Funeral services for Mr. Pittman will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 11, following a two-hour visitation from 12:00 – 2:00 PM, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubberly, LA. Burial will follow at Fellowship Cemetery also in Dubberly. Dr. Rick Wolfe will officiate the service.Pallbearers will be his grandchildren – Leslie Allen and her husband Luke, Matt Pittman, Zack Pittman, Jarrod Pittman and Sarah Pittman – and honorary pallbearers, grandchildren Mary Claire Pittman and Lydia Burn.
