Ricky Gene Powell, 57 of Evansdale, died Saturday, February 8, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
He was born December 2, 1956, in Waterloo, the son of Jack and Beverly Bosley Powell. He married Kerry Cunha on November 3, 1991 in Waterloo.
Survivors include: his wife of Evansdale; two step-sons, Jamey (Justine) Brown of Allison and Jeffrey Brown of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Ashlee Brown and Alec Brown; two brothers, Virgil (Betty) Powell and Skip Powell all of Waterloo; a sister-in-law, Barb Powell of Cedar Falls; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: his parents, a brother, Jack Powell; a sister, Kathy Kezar; a nephew, Dustin Shaver.
Memorial Services: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 12, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street. Public visitation one hour prior to services Wednesday.
