Mrs. Edith H. Stone age 87 of Smyrna, passed away Monday, Feb. 10th. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, Feb. 15th at Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna. Interment will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta.

Mrs. Stone retired from the State of Georgia after over 30 years of service. She was an avid bowler at Belmont Bowl & Brunswick Lanes. She enjoyed travel, writing poetry, arts & crafts and her cats.

She was preceded in death by her husband Randall Stone.

She is survived by her longtime friends - Flora Tillman of Miramar Beach, FL, Joe & Jonnie Sue Coker of Dallas, John Whiting of Smyrna and Keith Ferguson of Miramar Beach, FL.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 1957 Lakeside Pkwy., Ste. 500, Tucker, GA 30084.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday, Feb. 14th and 1 hour prior to service time Saturday, Feb. 15th at Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna (770)435-4467 www.carmichaelfuneralhomes.com.
