Hank Edward Smith, a longtime Okmulgee resident, died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the age of 61. He was born December 11, 1952 in Okmulgee to Lloyd Byron and Viola Evelyn (Hayden) Smith. Hank graduated from Okmulgee High School and worked for many years as a foreman for Asplundh Tree Service. He enjoyed fishing and playing pool. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Viola Evelyn Tolbert and a brother, Floyd Byron Smith. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Morris Cemetery Chapel with Mr. Paul Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
