Frances Louise Moon, 97, died February 8, 2014 at Tranquility of Kennesaw Hospice, Kennesaw Georgia.
She was born on September 16, 1916, on a farm in Ohio and moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, as a young woman. She raised one daughter Dianne and eventually moved with her family to Marietta, Georgia, in 1988. Frances worked at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church's Mother's Morning Out program for several years and remained very active well into her 90's. She was "Nanna" to many and well loved by all.
She is survived by her daughter Dianne Williams of Marietta, son-in-law Don, granddaughters Heather McGill of Canton and Brittany Williams of Atlanta, great grandson Turner and a great granddaughter that will be born soon. She is preceded in death by her sister Racie Willis.
Service was at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta. Burial was in Kennesaw Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a donation to 10 Women Of Hope, P.O. Box 235, Marietta GA, 30061 in memory of Frances would be appreciated.
