Patrick Michael McGee, 67 years old, of Antioch, IL passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 at his home. He was born November 13, 1946 in Elmhurst, IL the son of the late Harry F. and Winnie V. (Schroeder) McGee.
Pat had lived in Elmhurst, McHenry, IL and Streamwood, IL before settling in Antioch 35 years ago. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy.
On November 19, 1966 he married Carol Sceper in Elkton, MD.
He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and boating.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Carol; his children, Brian Patrick (Chelsea Parker) McGee of Chicago and Shawn (Jennifer) McGee of Antioch; grandchildren, Shea Nicole and Finnegan Patrick Harry McGee; and his siblings, Sandra (Gordon) Iversen of Tower Lakes, IL, Robert (Kathy) McGee of Worland, WY, and William (Gail) McGee of San Diego, CA.
In addition to his parents, Patrick was preceded in death by a brother, James McGee.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch, 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood (Joliet), IL.
