Son of Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Drouin.

Norman served as an Ensign and Pilot, USS Franklin (CV-13), U.S. Navy during World War II.

He resided in Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

Norman was "Killed In Action" when his plane went down in flames while providing support for the Marines fighting on Peleliu Island during the war.

He was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.

Fellow New Hampshirite and Pilot:
Jean Paul Rene Parent, suffered the same fate on the same day also on Peleliu Island.
