Burial followed in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn's Funeral Home of Delhi.
Mr. Darnell died Tuesday, February 12, 1991, in the Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi following a lengthy illness.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Delhi.
Mr. Darnell is survived by his wife, Mrs. Daisy Darnell of Delhi; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Mae Johnson of Tallulah, and Mrs. Irene Darnell Hopkins of Waterproof; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were L. P. Woodard, Amos Strange, John Howard, Bob Region, Doug Summers and Red Netherland.
