PHILIP JOEL ROGERS
January 6, 1939 - January 14, 2014

Philip Joel Rogers went to be with his Lord on January 14, 2014 at the age of 75 years. Philip was born on January 6, 1939 in Freedom, Oklahoma to Bryan and Margaret Rogers.

He went to school in Oklahoma, and after high school he worked for General Electric Company for 13 years as a jet engine tester.

He met the love of his life, Sharon, and they were married July 19, 1957. To this union three children were born, Tammy, Tommy Joe, and Kevin. Philips love for the outdoors and farming moved the family to a farm north of Stockton where they lived for almost 30 years. He was saved at an early age and loved the Lord. He looked to the Lord for everything.

Philip is preceded in death by his father, Bryan, mother Margaret, four brothers, John, Jesse, Silas, and Paul; a son, Tommy Joe and a granddaughter, Maggie.

Survivors of Philip include his wife Sharon; a daughter, Tammy; a son, Kevin; four grandchildren, Rachel, Emme, Kaley, and Jeremy; three great grandchildren, Macy, Marshall, and Thierry Joe. Philip is also survived by two sisters, Phillis and Edna and two brothers, Ben and Cleo Philips.

Life was full and his God set him free.

Memorial graveside services will be Saturday, January 25th in Lindley Prairie Cemetery.
