79, widow of William Gayle Hughes, died Saturday, February 8, 2014. She was born August 14, 1934 to Oscar Sherman and Ruth Games Brown. Lucille was a caregiver and liked to crochet, fish, read and do crafts. Survivors are four children, David Andrew (Brenda) Brown, Kenneth Eugene (Libby) Shell, Grover Mark (Morah) Shell and Lora Lynn Shell, seventeen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, two sisters, Eva Aline Mosley, Christine Taylor, two brothers, Hershel and Kenneth Brown and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a son, Steven Matthew Shell. Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Wednesday in Caney Fork Cemetery in Liberty, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home from 10:00 am until noon. Grandsons will serve as bearers.
