Hattie M. (Grim) Hildebrand, 81, of Shrewsbury, died at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday at Shrewsbury Lutheran Retirement Village. She was the wife of the late R. Elwood Hildebrand.
The service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom. Burial will be in Giesey Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Hildebrand was born March 10, 1917, in Spring Grove. She was the daughter of the late Abtial and Clara (Laughman) Grim.
She was a member of Golden Rod Council 24 and American Association of Retired Persons, both in New Freedom.
Mrs. Hildebrand is survived by two sons, Robert E. Hildebrand Jr. of Holbrook, Ariz., and Thomas E. Hildebrand of Shrewsbury; and four grandchildren.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. M. Katharine Rice, pastor of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Shrewsbury.
