George was the 1st of 12 children of Andrew Jackson Bobbs and Lucinda "Luci" M. Brothers.
He was living with his parents in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, at the time of the 1900 census.
He married about 1905 to Gertrude M. Barthlow.
They appear in the 1910 through 1930 census of Morgantown, Monongelia County, West Virginia. In 1910 he was manager of a pool room, in 1920 manager of a glass factory, and in 1930 a glass blower.
His last known address was Clairton, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
