Mrs. Walker was born March 10, 1927 in Sumter County, Ala. to the late Thomas G. Hair and Mary Pauline Beugnot Hair. She spent her retirement years with her daughter in Tucson, Ariz. after a long career at Marengo Mills in Demopolis, Ala.
Graveside services will be Saturday, Feb. 22, at 11 a.m. at Siloam Cemetery, south of York.
Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lee Walker and two step-sons, Edsel and Richard Walker.
Survivors include two sons, John Green (Carolin) of Platte City, Mo. and Jack Green (Cathy) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; a daughter, Charlotte Weltjen of Tucson, Ariz.; three step-children, Bob Walker of Lynn Haven, Fla., Bill Walker of Eustis, Fla., and June Walker Truelove of Meridian, Miss.; four grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
