GEORGETOWN Bessie Marie Garot, 86, of Route 3, Georgetown, died Monday in Louisville of injuries received in an automobile accident in Floyd County. She was the former Bessie Marie Tresenriter, a native of Floyd County and a member of Tunnel Hill Christian Church in Edwardsville, the World War I Veterans Auxiliary in New Albany, the Georgetown Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and the Piankeshaw Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in New Albany. Survivors include three brothers, Robert Tresenriter of New Albany, Stanley Tresenriter of Clearwater, Fla., and Curtis Harrnan of Clarksville; and three sisters, Mrs. Geneva Grosse and Mrs. Ruth Maples, both of Clarksville, and Mrs. Mildred Robinson of New Albany. Visitation at Gehlbach & Royse Georgetown Funeral Home will be after 1 p.m. Wednesday.
