She was born July 6, 1919, in Toledo to Lawrence and Anna Langenderfer. She was a kind mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, wife and "Aunt Bea." Bea graduated from St. James Grade School, Central Catholic High School, class of 1937 and Tri-State Business College. She worked for Allied Chemical Corporation for 25 years. She was a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Medical College of Ohio and a volunteer of the MCO Satellite group. Bea was also a long time bridge player and a member of the Maumee Senior Center. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing cards, quilting and her family.
Bea was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Clarence; parents; brothers, Donald, Larry, John and Joseph; sisters, Marguerite Langenderfer, Lenore Robles, Naomi Corder and Barbara Langenderfer. She is survived by her loving children, Bernard (Carol) of Florida, Fred (Jean) of Temperance, MI, Patrick (Nancy) of Haubstadt, IN, Christopher (Karen) of Toledo; sisters, MaryAnn Young, Sr. Patti Langenderfer, Rosalie Sexton, Sr. Annette Langenderfer, Dorothy (Vincent) Sodd; 9 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Wednesday, February 12, from 2:00-8:00 p.m., where a Scripture Service will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 13, beginning at 9:15 a.m., in the mortuary, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
