SACRAMENTO - Elizabeth "Dudie" Greene, 94, of Sacramento, died Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 3:30AM at her home. Mrs. Greene was born November 8, 1919 in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker, and she was the last surviving charter member of Neals Chapel General Baptist Church in Bremen. She loved the Lord, raising a garden and flowers, and caring for others. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Claude and Rittie Vincent Shanks; husband, Wilbur E. Greene; son, Robert; and grandson Steven Arnold.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth M. (Vonda A.) Greene of Sacramento; daughter Doris N. Arnold of Sacramento; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 2:00PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, with Rev. Dale Ward officiating. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
