BLENCOE, Iowa -- Jimmy Lee Fox, 66, of Blencoe died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Woodbine Cemetery, Woodbine, Iowa, with the Rev. Charles Layton officiating. Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa, Iowa.

Jimmy was born Oct. 7, 1939, in Sioux City, the only child of Russell and Jennie Lillian (Montgomery) Fox. He grew up on a farm near Ticonic, Iowa, until the age of 16, and movied to Onawa, Iowa with his mother after the death of his father. He attended Onawa High School.

In December 1961, he married Dora Allen. They divorced in 1991. He had lived in Castana, Iowa, until moving to Blencoe four year ago. He drove truck for several companies before retiring at the age of 65.

He attended the Ticonic United Methodist Church, while living near Ticonic.

Survivors include four sons, Russell and his wife, Mary Beth of Blencoe, Joe and his wife, Shannon of Onawa, Jerry of Whiting, Iowa, and Daniel and his wife, Tracy of Webster City, Iowa; a daughter, Jamie Fox and her fiance, Jim Needham of Mesa, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and a half sister, Lucille Sandvol of Albuquerque, N.M.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Blaine.
