He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Jeanetta Holmes.
Glen accepted Christ and was baptized at Mount Vernon Baptist Church. He served in the US Army and received an honorable discharge. He successfully received certificates of completion in Auto Body Repair and Heavy Equipment Driver Training.
Glen had a passion for working on cars and was very good at it. He loved music and could be caught randomly singing and dancing at any given moment. He was a loving brother and father who loved life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
To cherish his memories, Glen Holmes leaves behind, his father, McKinley Holmes; five siblings: Yvonne Downton (John), McKinley A. Holmes, Yvette White-Gulley (James), Thomisa Gilmore (Jeffery), and Roderick Holmes; eleven beautiful children: Glen, Clifton, Shalaunda, Georgianna, Chandlier, Crystal, Jeanetta, Liza, Clayton, Caleb, and Sherita; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services for Glen Holmes were held on Monday, February 10, 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Family Worship Center.
Interment, Leavenworth National Cemetery.
