Rosemarie Bailey, 75, died February 6, 2014 in Anson. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2014 at Adams-Graham Funeral Home with Pastor Wynn Skelton officiating. The burial will be at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Adams-Graham Funeral Home.

Born October 1, 1938 in Bochum-Linden-Dahlhausen, Germany, Rosemarie was a daughter of Heinrich and Agatha Josefa Antonie Rabbe Hamers. She graduated from high school in Germany then attended Texas Tech. She married James A. (Jim) Bailey, March 7, 1959 at Schwaebisch Hall, Germany. From 1971 to 1978 they owned Bailey's TV and Appliance Center in Plainview. They returned to Anson in 1987 and was a homemaker. Rosemarie was a good cook, enjoyed dancing, liked music, and the family said she was lots of fun. Her favorite trip was to go to Las Vegas to enjoy all the entertainers- favorites were Tom Jones and Elvis Presley. She was a member of Church of God International.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Christel Middellmann, one son-in-law, Bryan Little.

Survivors include her husband, James (Jim) Bailey of Anson; one son, Eric Allen and wife Cristi Bailey of Wichita Falls; two daughters, Sylvia Estalene Bailey of Lincoln, NE and Suzanne Beryl Bailey of Anson; one grandson, Weston Allen Bailey; one sister, Inge Kurzmann of Germany.
