Cindy Sue Davis, 51, passed away February 7, 2014.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday at Abilene Funeral Home Chapel of Hope, 3349 N.12th Street with Pastor David Keel officiating. Burial will follow at Tye Cemetery, directed by Abilene Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davis was born July 18, 1962, in Abilene, Texas to the late Willis Newel Smith and Brenda Sue Ray Smith.

When her mother passed away, Cindy became the family's mother figure. She shared the love she had for her children with her nieces and nephews. Her kindness and generosity kept her from turning away from anyone in need. She was the glue that kept this family together, and will be missed very much.

Survivors include her two sons, Jason Lee and Jamie Laroy Davis; two daughters, Brenda Makayla Sue and Jade Nycole Davis; three brothers, Jerry, Billy and Joe Jordan; four sisters, Trace Jordan, Renee Treadwell, Reba Algood and Brandy Ussery; and two grandchildren, Ahryanna Treadwell and Aiden Treadwell, all family from Abilene.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her step-father, Lloyd Jordan; two brothers, Roy Smith and Jimmy Jordan; and her grandmother, Dessie Odell Ray.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Abilene Funeral Home Chapel of Hope.
